SERUM X Studies
The following two studies were carried out in the winter of 2021 and the summer of 2022.
Both utilized the current version of SERUM X that is currently for sale on aobiologix.com
Superoxide dismutase and its effect on interstitial cystitis pain
Interstitial cystitis is a chronic condition causing bladder pressure, bladder pain and sometimes pelvic pain. The pain ranges from mild discomfort to severe pain. In our study, 27 participants used superoxide dismutase applied topically over the bladder to see if pain symptoms would be improved.
Intracellular Superoxide Dismutase Deficiency Resolution with SOD Gel Case Study
A patient with fatigue, increased recurrent infections, and generalized pain, had his intracellular vitamin levels determined and was found to have a significantly low intracellular superoxide dismutase (SOD) level. He was then prescribed a new OTC pain gel containing the first functional SOD1 and lidocaine (SERUM X™ by AO Biologix™). 100 days later, when re-tested, he had significantly elevated intracellular levels of SOD to a high normal range confirming that this first of its kind SOD gel delivers an appropriate and readily absorbable intracellular SOD dose.
